Do you have to buy things off Amazon to join the discussions on there?

That wasn’t always the case, but when I logged back in after a long hiatus in 2009, I was told that I did have to buy something to contribute.

ETA: I need to go back and re-learn reading comprehension. I thought you were talking about posting reviews.
