What is your favorite '80s song?

Asked by ShiningToast (2108points) May 17th, 2010

I’m building an ‘80s playlist, and why not get the input of my Flutherites?

For example:

Safety Dance

She Blinded Me With Science

Not exactly the 80’s but close enough, I Wanna Be Sedated, by the Ramones.

This is so hard to answer. My teenage years were spent in the 80s, so many songs remind me of different experiences that I had growing up. Two of my favorites though are The Ghost In You by The Psychedelic Furs and Charlotte Sometimes by The Cure.

There are so many that I love, I can’t choose an exact favourite but I do love The Power of Love by Jennifer Rush. Her voice is orgasmic.

@mrentropy – I saw Martha Davis at B.B. King’s in Times Square last summer. She’s still got that voice, and all her backup guys were young (and very, very hot).
