Is there a firewire 400 to 800 adapter or converter for iMac?

I have an epson 3200 scanner that uses firewire 400 but my new iMac only has firewire 800 slots. What do I need to purchase to attach the scanner to the iMac or use it with the iMac?

Just get a 400 to 800 firewire adapter, the 800 is backwards compatible. Older devices will work with the new 800 ports on the computer with adapter cables.
