Will the RIAA become extinct or will it be reborn in a much more favorable form?

Asked by jcs007 (1776points) March 15th, 2008 from iPhone

People have been saying that the RIAA’s way of distributing music is prehistoric compared to BitTorrents. So, will Torrents kill the RIAA? Or will it shapeshift into another type of association?

Eventually people will change the way they support musicians and other content creators financially that lets content be shared freely without anyone attempting to limit distribution. People will eventually look back at the RIAA and copyrights as we know them, as wasteful foolishness.
