How to make custom command to text in Mac OSX?

Asked by SebastianUllmark (185points) June 3rd, 2010

Hey!
I’ve searched the net, briefly, for some way to make a specific keyboard commando, e. g. “ctrl+alt+cmd+c”, to result in the phrase ”.com” appear. If you have ever used an iPhone, you get it. Maybe this isn’t possible, anyway, just wanted to ask!

Thanks!

TextExpander does something similar. I can type “MBP” and have “MacBook Pro” appear for me.
