What should I do if I have had skin exposure to the sap from morning glory vines?

Asked by citygrlincountry (270points) June 5th, 2010

I’ve been pulling out some morning glory vines, now my fingers are tingling—I should have worn gloves—and I’ve been googling this without much luck. Apparently consuming the seeds can be poisonous, and someone wrote about hallucinations and migraines after pulling out a lot of the vine—luckily I hadn’t done that much, just a little, but enough to make my fingers tingle. I’ve of course washed my hands but does anyone know if I should do something else? I would rather not start hallucinating or get a headache.
