Yes it happens quite often in fact. Mostly to Animal lovers that think every deer is a cuddly little creature as seen in Bambi. Not something that has to fight for survival every day of its life.

I am still waiting for the Deer Rise Up! They are sharpening their racks and cutting their teeth in to razors. They will prevail and life as we know it will change. Deer can fuck shit up. This is no joke.

A friend of mine got a deer while bow hunting. He carried it to his truck and as he was dropping it into the bed, the back of the arrow pushed up against the floor and pushed the arrowhead into his liver. He survived.
Lots of mistakes made and many lessons learned.

Yeah and what ever you do don’t look them in the eye! A friend of my brother who knew somebodies uncle that was on call one night that knew the EMT that had to respond to a call of a man in a tree who ran for his life from a deer that was apparently all mad at him for not inviting him to the reindeer games. ;)

I’ve never heard of “attack deer” but I do know about a man who was shot by a puppy and he deserved it. Maybe the guy killed by the deer deserved it to. It always has seemed to be not quite a fair fight, a guy with a gun vs. a deer.

Deer are sneaky SOB’s!! True story!! I was star gazing on top of a hill all alone and I hear this noise and all of a sudden there was this smell I smelled…...I hear this breathing over my head….mind you it is pitch black I can’t see shit and I feel this tap on my head and I scream and I hear this snort/scream and I am showered in deer snot as I jump up screaming and running and I hear a hear of hoof steps stomp off down the hill. I mean this was a huge deer as when I jumped up I hit his chin with the top of my head….HS

To answer the question, yes, I have. Deer are responsible for fewer hunting deaths than accidental gunshots, but it does happen.

@Aster Stranger things have happened to me but this one was up there and honestly scared the shit out of me….I screamed like a little girl when it happened. I was all alone and up on this hill at midnight and that buck scared the life out of me. Funny thing is he and his herd were there the next morning and I swear he flipped me off!! lol!
