Milo here: You need to ask? (11 lbs.)

JeanPaulSartre's avatar

Those humans are pretty deadly and don’t weigh much.

@gailcalled I think it only fair to exclude the furry felines.I mean their propensity toward evil would garner them a truly unfair advantage surely.Milo should place his paws over his eyes, I wouldn’t care for retribution.

Blue whale would be the best. One tail slap can send you to your grave!

Pound for pound I’m gonna say spider or scorpion.

Humans by a long shot. Big brains and ability to use weapons ftw.

If I’m not mistaken, we are the only predators who can kill and eat creatures way bigger than us.

Ignoring humans, and ignoring “pound for pound,” bears are the deadliest land animal. By which I mean, they can beat up any other land animal. Killer whales are probably the deadliest underwater animal, but I guess if a blue whale felt like it, it could f anything else up. Size is a huge predictor of victory in combat in the animal world.

I’ve read that dragonfly larvae are the supreme predators, kilo for kilo, of any lifeform, regularly killing prey hundreds of times larger than itself. They are also, believe it or not, tool users; many species collect rocks, shells, and other detritus and glue it to themselves as armour.

@JeanPaulSartre: You have a couple kids, would you say they’re the most dangerous?~

Just from a physical standpoint, I’d go with @zenele. Predatory bugs are surprisingly strong and can take down critters several times their size.

@SmashTheState: I didn’t know that. Interesting fact!
