Where can I go to find the value of my Dodge Rampage?

Asked by Jeremycw1 (1370points) June 11th, 2010

I’ve searched KBB and the NADA guides, but I cannot find the value of my 1984 Dodge Rampage (parts car). The lowest price is a low retail value, but it doesn’t run. Do you know where I could find the real value of it?

You might try looking up the price of scrap steel per pound.

Call metal recycling centers. Experts work there and get vehicles every day to recycle. A large one on the east coast is PSC : http://www.pscmetals.com/

I find online is the worst place to go. Always just junk websites fishing for your money. Try the magazine rack at a big book store, there is a whole quarterly magazine based on car values from 1990–1904. If I can remember the name of it, I’ll send it to you. I only read it once every couple years when I want to know the value of my Apollo.

And stay away from recyclers unless you’re just looking to get rid of the car, they’ll usually only give you a fraction of the worth of the car.
