Do breast biopsies usually confirm cancer?

I felt that a lump/cluster of lumps was growing. It was determined that I should have a special mammogram as well as a sonogram.

I am supposed to talk with the doctor on Monday about a biopsy. Anyone here have experience in this department? Do I have options or is it cut and dry?
