Wait a few days…as I did not do…with my new cat! haha

I named her Mia..but, then she became the lizard catching queen and I wished I had named her Lizzy.

No big whoop…but names tend to evolve with an animals personality and quirks.

She looks like a happy dog….wait and see how she blossoms over the next week or so, quirks that show up…..:-)

I’ve got to say that @jonsblond said it best. There’s nothing wrong with Blondie. Of course, if she is such a well behaved dog as you say, then you could call her Sweetie or Sweetie Pie.

Oh, Silhouette just thought of the name I was thinking. The moment I saw her she looked like a Goldie.

First of all…. I am sooooooooo happy you have found a new friend!! She will never replace Spunky. I know you will love her equally, but in different ways.
So my thoughts were she could be called Millie. I love that name. To shorten it you could just use the comand Mil which she would also answer to. I also like the name Jody. I am sure you know the reasons why.
You have made my day!!! Hope you have many, many happy days with her. She has certainly found a wonderful owner. <3

Years ago I had a pet rat I named ‘Nancy’ after a boss I hated….still makes me laugh, she never knew but everyone else did!

My female Golden was named Misha, the shortened form of Mikhail, for Baryshnikov and the male was named Rudy, as in Nureyev. (My girls a big fan of ballet.) Looking at your avatar, I thought she looks like royalty. Feel free to use that if you’d like.

Maybe Mica? Pronounced Mee-ca, like Mika Brezenski. If smeone asks you where you came up with the name you can say her formal name is Maria Conchita Alonso and you just took her initials and made a nickname out of it.

My Mia was named ‘Speckles’ at the shelter…but, she learned her new name in no time, it’s only been 5 weeks and she learned her name in about 4 days!

I think they run out of names and just slap up anything to have a name. lol

Okay…here’s whats morphed in a few short weeks over this way with my guys ’ Mia & Gizmo.’
( Gizmo had his name for months so I have kept it, but don’t really like it, have modified it to ‘Gizzi’. or Giz. )

‘Mimi, Mima, funny honey, Giz the whiz….Mizmo…fizzmo…Momo…it’s really incredibly stupid…sooo, don’t stress….whatever you name her will morph about 10 times over and you will rarely actually call her the given name.

Sadie is calming down and showing her true personality. I’m so lucky to have that girl. This is going to be a good marriage. She is so responsive and very interactive with everything I do! Sadie is my shadow! Things I’ve noticed. She never get on the furniture, house broken, learns very quickly, and for example, when i first got her she wanted to go out in the front yard while i was doing yard work and had to fuss at her with the tone of my voice when she left my yard toward my neighbor’s yard, she now stays close to me! Amazing!

she is an absolutely more than i ever expected…she is a blast! She is not high maintenance, but we do spend lots of time together, but she can entertain herself. She has such great manners. Thrilled to have her. Sadie is my baby!

Yesterday I had to take my girl goose , Sonora, to the vet for a sprained hock. She is on anti-inflamatory liquid for 2 weeks..just did the morning syringe.
She screamed the whole time I was out of the exam room in the bathroom…OMG..I could hardly stand it!
