Adobe Photoshop Question: How many times can you install it into a different computer?

My computer saga continues. I had Adobe Photoshop loaded onto my laptop that just died. I am borrowing someone’s laptop until I get a new one. I need to do some graphics, but do not want to load Adobe onto this borrowed computer if it means I cannot load it onto my new one.

Someone told me that you can load it onto one laptop and one desktop computer and that was it. Is that true? Is it unlimited use once you purchase it, or?
