Question about RealPlayer Downloader?

Is this thing illegal?? It kinda sounds like it is to me because you are like taking videos. I just wanted to know ‘cause it sounds really cool but I don’t want to use if it is illegal. One more question : can you download music with this thing, too???? Thanks XD
