Seems pointless.

It’s another way to keep the marketing in front of you. After all, you noticed it, didn’t you?

It is the manufacturer’s way of making you feel good about a vehicle you have already purchased.

Singing to the Choir and their equivalent if a monogramed Tshirt :-)

If you’re driving a Chrysler and looking at a Ford logo while you’re driving then you’ve got the wrong steering wheel.

The logo in my car covers up the screws that hold the steering wheel on.
But ya, “branding.” Kind of funny if you take it as a reminder, as if some drivers might need to be reminded what they are driving.

Its there for a reason. the next time your vehicle breaks down and you need a tow…..on the phone, the wrecker driver will ask you the make of your vehicle. since, you have had a little too much to drink, your cars logo is right there on the steering wheel.

And you thought the logo was just there for advertising, right? wrong.

Perhaps so when you do a face plant due to faulty brakes you imprint the logo (albeit backwards to others looking at you).

My husband loves the Porsche crest on his steering wheel. I agree, it is just more advertising to keep the owner brand loyal.
