Was Kate Todd pregnant?

Asked by whisperfur (15points) June 28th, 2010

so did i just halucinate or in the first episode of NCIS, yankee white, kate mentions being pregnant. yet supposedly years pass before the end of twilight (dont want to ruin it for anyone) and there is no further mention of the baby. i would think she had an abortion, but that couldnt be because the character kate is a catholic girl, and most hard core catholics (not all dont be offended please) are against it. so did the writers just forget about the baby or what?

I am a little confused by your question… but hopefully this will shed some light on the subject.

Don Bellisario (the creator of NCIS) made this statement about the matter of Sasha Alexander (Kate Todd) leaving the show. “This was the first time she went over a year on a show….and she just didn’t think she had the stamina to do it.” The writers didn’t develop more on her, because she knew she wanted to leave the show.

Hope this helps.

thx but i knew that, i mean the actual character kate not the actress, in yankee white she vomits and when gibbs freaks thinking shes poisoned she says there is more than one reason for a woman to puke and at first i thought it is her being a smart ass but later she says the father is a coworker who later is the second poison victim. and in the ncis timeline she was there for like almost two years atleast one because its her first year when mcgee joins their group. but she basically confess’ to gibbs because she is pregnant and it takes atleast a month and a half for a woman to say oh shit im pregnant so she had to of known for sure to talk to gibbs (complete stranger) at the time. wow i rambled but that is basically my thought process it is not truly important to me if she is or not i just thought it was a pretty big loose end to have in a first episode is all.
