If you had 3 day FTX, what time do you usually return on the 3rd day?

Asked by chelle21689 (7907points) June 28th, 2010

So yeah, I made a bad decision to schedule my visit during a 3 day Army drill (FTX). I don’t know what I’m going to be doing by myself all day, I have a slight chance of having a peek at what they do for training though. His SGT is still trying to see what he can do.

Anyways, on the third day of Drill when they come back from the fields and it’s over…would they usually be able to leave during the afternoon or most likely would it be night time? Give me an estimate :)

It just depends on when they get done their exercises and then returning any equipment that they need to return. There’s really no easy way to say what time it will be.

Without knowing what equipment the FTX uses that may have to be cleaned, maintained before they are done there is no real way to tell. Also if the CO thinks they need extra practice, he may keep them late.

Ughhhhhhhh…..it’d just be so much easier if I knew all this army stuff coming before hand so I could’ve scheduled around it!

@chelle21689 3am for us, but that was unusual.

The last time my husband was in the field for FTX, they were gone for a whole week. On the last day, he made it home for dinner around 6pm.
