Anyone have trouble with GURPS?

I am going to run a Steampunk campaign in a couple of months. I’ve been reading through GURPS 4th edition and I love it. I did a test run with the basic combat and I haven’t hit any hitches. Anyone have any troubles with the system? Skills, character creation, etc?
