Is it acceptable here to send in unkind, cruel, dangerous, sophomoric, completely dimwitted or off-topic answers and then say j/k or just playing?)

That allows one to say anything whatever on any subject.

I tried to remove last ) but couldn’t. I was thinking in particular about the question regarding the microw’aving of eggs. If the querent were young and inexperienced, he or she could have hurt him/herself.

I think it isn’t okay. Wastes database space…

It’s not right when people do that, and it’s real immature

Last night I was appalled by a question asked in reference to running away. We all have the ability to pass on questions, and I wish people would refrain from being haters. We may not always like the questions being asked, but why create all the animosity?

I was on the running away thread it was so wrong what the guy said to the kid I think he was trying to be funny to get points but he could have pushed the kid over the edge but thankfully lots of us posed messages that showed poeple care

Forget right or wrong, it isn’t really either. But it’s important to remember: every answer like that is a step toward Fluther becoming a much better designed Yahoo! Answers (rendering it useless).

I would like to say that if someone bases there learning or what ever you might call it, “helpful info” based off a web site only should be slaped! Just because a web site or other people tell you what to do you don’t have too. I and by the way it is safe to put eggs in the microwave. Just kidding.

@hairypalm:In the not-so-distant past, we sent on accurate and helpful information to all or admitted we weren’t sure. And it is safe to put eggs in the microwave oven only after the membrane that covers the yolks has been punctured. That’s why scrambling works best.

@richardhenry: Hairypalm is stepping up to the plate (and fulfilling your prophecy). Odd, isn’t it?

There have been several mean-spirited and insulting answers this morning, and I’ve flagged all the ones I’ve seen.
