What would be the best way to record this song?

Can you use a headphone to headphone cord and record it into some kind of DAW workstation on your computer? That way, even if the quality isn’t great you can add some effects and get a visual representation.

Otherwise, use the headphone to headphone cable into Audacity. I’m assuming you’ve been doing this via your computers mic before, but I could be wrong.

Is there any sort of output preferences in the app you’re using, plus have you fiddled with recording quality in Audacity yourself?

I’m guessing the issue is that the app can not export or play at a very high bit rate or quality so that when it gets played through a computer it gets crappy, especially because some quality is going to get a bit lost through the cable and sound card.

it can’t export at all, but the sound is great over bluetooth. I fiddled with audacity but it didn’t really work well.

i also have the problem when i got a new ipod, and i try to look for solutions
