What is the best free, floppy bootable hard drive wipe process?

Asked by UScitizen (4306points) July 3rd, 2010

I need to wipe a hard drive on a server with no cd/dvd, only a floppy. (The drive will be removed and given to an unknown charity.) What is the best process / application? I have a webroot floppy that will do a Guttman 35 pass. Is this good enough?

Boot and nuke deletes every hd it can find so if you have more than 1 hd I wouldn’t use it.

I would use the floppy you already have.

Thanks. It took a few minutes to find the dban version for a floppy. If you need it, go to v 1.0.7.
