If Wyle E Coyote had enough money to buy all that Acme crap, why didn't he just buy dinner?

It has been quite some time since I have seen a Wyle E cartoon, but I don’t ever remember seeing him ‘buy’ any of those Acme brand products. I would think that he stole them. Which begs the question… why not steal dinner?

I never understood why Coyote couldn’t catch roadrunner. A coyote can top speeds around 40mph. Road runners are capable of about 20mph.

He never stole any of them they were ordered via air mail, kind of Fed Ex in the desert.

Maybe we are all making a big mistake by trying to find logic in a dumb american cartoon.

It wasn’t about food. While E. Coyote comes from a long line of road runner catchers. In order to prove their worth and advance through the tribe, WEC needed to catch the road runner that the elders had assigned him.

Because he’s an engineer. If THAT is the objective, then he will find a way to reach it, ordering dinner is the pussy way out.

Besides he never died of hunger so he probably had something to eat anyway.

Just like hunters who rent helicopters and guides to help them locate and shoot a deer. The deer-meat could easily be purchased for the amount spent, but the hunters have satisfied their blood-lust.
