What do you think of the fair tax plan will it work?

It is awesome if you make 100K plus and put away money every month. It t-bags you if you are middle-class or poor. I’m poor. I spend most of my income on food and rent and utilities. I don’t pay very much in income taxes. We don’t have a sales tax here and I rent so I don’t pay a property tax. I pay very little of what I make in taxes.

The fair tax would fuck me and a lot of other people that are poor and middle-class. Like I said, It would be great for people that are wealthy. Rich people pay for and write the laws. 90% of the United States doesn’t contribute to campaigns.. So fuck em.

in the long run, it doesn’t seem that it would change much, just fuck people over that barely lost any of their paycheck (ie min wage and the like) to taxes. getting rid of the IRS seems like a good idea to me, though.

But then again, I’m just a kid.

I would love to see it happen.

It’s not a fair tax because it would tax all incomes at the same rate and in order to compensate, the federal government would have to offer periodic refunds to lower-income folks and so it would just be another bureaucratic mess.

There is no such thing as any kind of “fair tax”. It is window dressing for antoher way for government to suck you into believing that they are working “for the people”.

fair tax does that and drug dealers would pay taxes to no more black market everyone pays
