Have you ever heard of putting a pantyhose (as a screen) in front of a black & white TV screen, to give you color?See detail?

This was a trivia question & answer that I read it somewhere, I haven’t tried to verify it. Is it true?

@gorillapaws No, that is not it. Try again. It probably doesn’t mean as good quality as a real color TV. Not even close probably, but still.
