Calc question about sequences.

Asked by topserb96 (131points) March 19th, 2008 from iPhone

what is (a sub n) for a sequence {5,1,5,1,5,.......}? I found the equation close is 5 + 4•(-1)^n-1 however it doesn’t work out for (a sub 1)
