General Question

When connecting to ' other ' network on my iPhone , the symbol doesn't show . What's up with that ?

Here is a picture of MY network connected
Here is a picture of the other network connected

Why doesn’t the symbol show up letting me know it’s connected ?

Because it’s not connected yet.

BTFON requires in browser authentication so until you launch safari and enter your account details to use BT Fon (probably your BT total broadband email account details) it won’t conect so you don’t see the wifi symbol.

Okay thanks , it would have been good if the iPhone had informed me of this .
