Where can I find workout buddies in my area?

I have seen these type of requests on Craigslist. Check there in your town or make your own ad.

I was just about to say – don’t post on craiglist! You might get some perverts. ;) I know that Sparkpeople.com is a weighloss site, but you can find “buddies” in your area to work out with. Maybe you should try that out?

Here are the fitness meet up groups from Meetup.com. They mights have one in your area. If not, you could start one.

To me the best place to meet workout buddies is.. at your gym. Depending on what gym it is, and what time of day, you may find it more social than you think. Or you can always ask one of the workers there to help out the first time or two.

Lots of benefits in this approach: they have a membership, they like to go to the gym, they like to go to YOUR gym, they probably have the same schedule as you, etc.

Be fearless! Give it a go! Half the fun is meeting new people and seeing people you know.

well if you are single i heard of a website that is for singles that are fit…. not sure what it is called but im sure you can google fit singles and find it…...maybe find more than a gym buddy…...
