If you smoke occasionaly only 10 days, if you smoke regularly about a month, more or less

based on your spelling i’d say that you should still wait awhile before you get tested.

It stays in your fat cells so if your heavier person it takes longer than the 30 days to get out of your system.

It stays in your hair permanently; this makes testing the hair very popular and practical as a way of testing for marijuana use.

Frequent Users will have it show up in their urine for 2 weeks to a month. Infrequent will be around 10 days. These are just rough guesses but this rate can be highly accelerated by drinking a lot of water and green tea(antioxidants)

@cwilbur thats actually not true. THC metabolites are transferred to the hair follicles only while they’re present in the bloodstream. When you stop smoking and they leave your system they’ll no longer be incorporated into your hair.

Hair tests look at the 1.5” of your hair closest to the skin, approximately three month’s growth. After three month’s the accuracy of the test falls off sharply, which is why they test for only the most recent three months.

@patrick batemen, oh I know because I spelled marijuana with an a instead of an I , I must be a complete crackhead right? Everyone on fluther makes spelling errors. And don’t just assume because I ask that question that I would be getting a drug test

2) pass our advice along to your “friend”
