How do you separate an African Violet without damaging it? (Details follow)

I have two African violets that were given to me and they are quite healthy. One is a miniature and another is regular-sized. (I actually have more, but these two are referenced in this question.)

These two violets are now crowded in their pot and now have two centerpoints…I think they need to be separated and re-potted in two separate pots. Anyone know how I can do this without damaging them?
