Where can I read the Oliver Stone interview with the Times of London?

Asked by semblance (1303points) July 28th, 2010

There has been a lot of play over Oliver Stone’s comments to the Times of London recently. Most of this revolves around the accusations that he is anti-Semitic and his subsequent apology. I like to read original sources to put things in their proper context, though, and I have not been able to find the full text of the original interview, even on the Times of London website. I tried Internet searches, but it was like looking for a needle in a haystack. Lots of references to the controversy, but nothing I could find in the way of original source material. So, do any of you more computer savvy (and probably younger) members out there know where to find the full text of the interview?

Their online content is by subscription only but there’s a possible, low-tech, old-fashioned solution. Call your local library and see if they have a subscription and then go there and read it.

@lillycoyote – That’s a laugh. The library here does not even have the New York Times, let alone the Times of London.

@semblance That’s pretty sad. I went back to The Times’ website and they allow you to buy a 24 hour pass to the site for 2$ U.S.. That should get you access to the interview I would think.

@lillycoyote – Thanks. I didn’t see that!
