Do any of you have any information about Virgin Mobile?

I am looking into upgrading to a smart phone, and recently someone told me Virgin Mobile http://www.virginmobileusa.com/home.html seems to be a great deal, $25 a month for everything. I am pretty ignorant on these matters. Is it $25 a month for everything, like an AT&T plan for iphone? I noticed on another part of the site http://www.virginmobileusa.com/mobile-broadband it seems it is extra for broadband. What does that mean exactly? Is that for web access? It’s all very confusing to me.

Well, if you want to upgrade to a smartphone you should go elsewhere. Virgin Mobile does have that plan, but to my knowledge they don’t actually have any smartphones to choose from.

EDIT: I stand corrected, they have a Blackberry. It’s 299$, though, which is a lot of money to pay for a phone thats almost 2 years old. So yeah, their data plans are great but I think you will end up with a subpar phone and some spotty coverage.

At least that’s how mine was about a year ago.
