How do I retrieve view, files, edit in internet explorer?

Is it a “Toolbar?” Whatever it is, or was, view, file and edit are missing and my email envelope thing is missing half the time. In place of that, there is a little worthless envelope w/a red stamp that does Nothing. Woe is me; all is lost.

Sounds like you somehow deleted those commands in your toolbar. You can replace them easily. I’ll be happy to walk you through it offline.

thank you but I do not have a “tools” window on step 2 that drops down! I have a little house, a small envelope and a little pic of a printer. Up on the right . But no “tools.” Does this sound like IE 7 to you? thx, @Austinlad
