Why would someone live in Tucson, AZ

My job has me in Tucson for a while and coming from where I do… Why would anybody want to live here? There is no water, no grass, microscopic party scene, the WORST city layout/interstate design i’ve ever seen and i’ve traveled quite a bit, one of the highest crime rates in the country for a city of its size and it has a third world country at its front porch.
