Fun things to do in Santa Clara?

I’m traveling to Santa Clara for a week on business at the beginning of September, but should have most of my evenings free. I’ve been to San Francisco, and think it’s one of the best cities in the US, but I’m guessing traffic will suck too much to make it there in a reasonable time from where I’m staying (or will it?). Anyways, if anyone has some cool recommendations for good restaurants and places to check out I’d love to hear them.

You could go see the Mission Santa Clara de Asis.

You’re not far from the Winchester Mystery House.

As for dining, do you like Indian? Tey Kabab & Curry’s. Or Greek? Try Athena Grill.

A good place for coffee is Barefoot Coffee Roasters.

Man, I’ve heard of the Winchester house and had no idea it was in the area. I’d love to see it, but it looks like the tours are during business hours. Maybe if I made it my first priority after landing on Sunday afternoon.

The Mission looks interesting too, thanks. Can I just drive to the campus and wander around it?

I love Indian and Greek food. I’ll try both those for dinner.
