How can I get a larger image of a thumbnail to appear on mouseover with HTML?

Asked by poofandmook (17320points) August 4th, 2010

I have a bunch of little pictures. I want a slightly larger version of the image to appear when you mouse over the little one.

Can I do this with basic HTML? How?

you can’t with HTML. You can with either CSS or Javascript.

Ya as @MrItty said, you’ll need to use a combination of css/JavaScript in order to achieve such effect. Pure HTML would not support it.

It is pretty simple with just a little bit of CSS. Here is a little demo I made for you.
