Is there a way to disable window shadows in Mac OS X 10.6?

Asked by vekteur (107points) August 4th, 2010

How can I disable the shadows around the edges of windows in Mac OS X 10.6? There is an app called ”shadowkiller” but it does not work for (snow) Leopard.

This may be what you are looking for.

Found this in Apple forum
“API:
ChangeWindowAttributes(window, kWindowNoShadowAttribute, kWindowNoAttributes);
This disables the shadow for a given window.”
