If you could be anyone in the world, who would you be?

Asked by mYcHeMiCaLrOmAnCe (1478points) August 5th, 2010

Who would you be? Would you be just someone else (e.g. somebody you know, or someone famous)? Would you just change some things about yourself, and still be who you are today? Or would you just disappear, and say you never existed?

Myself – with a bit more spending money.

I would like to be Bill Gates for a while. To see what it was like to be able to do anything moneywise, and to put my own spin on philanthropy.

Hey—I’ve spent a lifetime trying to be me! I’d settle for that. But if I had to pick somebody, it would be Thomas Edison or Albert Einstein. The brains those guys had, and the contributions they made! I also wouldn’t mind being Robert Frost, to have written a poem like “Death of a Handy Man.”

Me with more money and a media production company based in London. I’m really starting to dig me.

I can’t imagine who else I’d want to be, in all honesty.

Being me is all I ever wanted.

and because I forgot to write who I would be….
me, but a bit different:
taller than I am now, and maybe more talented. and less selfish.
and I’d have more friends

change, hate changes… “sat in my ways”! I would just continue to be “little old me!”

Often thought about the really rich and famous and their money, lifestyle, etc., but if you got all that, you have to hire security, be careful where you go…. and, I don’t have to deal with that. Would bet their are some real rich and famous people that would like to one of us! probably only for a short period of time! Have to measure your freedom in dollars!

I would love to be me with my 15 year old body and its metabolism :D

Makstatic's avatar

Why would I want to waste time in someone else’s body in somebody else’s life?

Neizvestnaya's avatar

I’d be me as I am right now in present circumstances, the same man, the same plan, etc. The only change I’d make is turn my body clock back 20yrs and 6” taller.

How about the person I am struggling to become, though I am not even sure about that. Even that struggle is a part of who I am.
