How can I work with my own facebook links? Searching them would be good...

Asked by rexpresso (922points) August 12th, 2010

I have about 1200 links on facebook, and it’s a damn fine collection of interesting material.

I would like to find an article I posted in the past, but I simply cannot find a way to do it other than clicking through a tonne of pages.

Searching via the Facebook main search feature doesn’t help either…

the only thing i could suggest is going through each page and pressing ctrl+f then typing in a keyword that you know was in the article/title/link. not too sure how links work on facebook but that might work?!

If you’re a programmer, this is how it’s done: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/rest/links.get

Passing one’s links to an RSS reader seems to help. Just wanted to let you know that I just found that out. Facebook’s links has an RSS button. You can also subscribe to other people’s links via RSS.
