Can somebody recommend any good book on steel structure fabrication?

Asked by citizenearth (781points) August 15th, 2010

I am looking for good books on fabrication of steel structures. I try hard to source from amazon.com but the result is not encouraging. I even try to search on vark.com but no reply so far. It seems that this type of technical subject is hard to come by. Can anyone help?

Bf is a structural engineer. What type of structures are you interested in and are you looking for info re: bolted or welded? You might try asking on forums like eng-tips.com (think that’s the right URL, might have ta Google) or http://cr4.globalspec.com also.

@lilikoi: Thanks for your input. The structures that I am mainly involved in are the lattice & tubular type electricity & telecommunications tower, including monopole/guyed tower. The joint might be both bolted and welded.
