What songs could I add to my playlist to pump myself out for a workout?

Asked by ubersiren (15180points) August 16th, 2010

It doesn’t have to be a particular genre or style of song. However, I will say that I particularly enjoy epic songs that are in action sequences of movies. One I discovered last night is from the movie Kick Ass. There’s another one by that same composer that was in 28 Days Later, which for some reason makes me want to run for my life.

Something like those would be awesome, but I also enjoy some pop or something else. I enjoy music recommendations, so you can’t really go wrong.

Thanks ahead of time.

I really like working out to Michael Jackson, the more upbeat songs especially. Billie Jean, Bad, Smooth Criminal, they all make me wanna dance, which makes me wanna move, which makes me wanna work out!

Listen to some of the songs on the Inception soundtrack.
I also like this song by Atreyu. It’s so raw…..

Edit: Omg this song is so bad ass, Atreyu is full of Win.

The Power by Snap, of course. It’s more of a warm up song

Got to Keep On by The Cookie Crew. This one is faster.
