What inventions did you think of before someone else invented and brought them into reality in our every day lives?

Squeezable ketchup bottles.

Nail polish pens. I still kick myself for not doing more about it.

The bionic eye that you hear about now and then, though my idea left out the computer.

I invented a device to assist in disarming some classes of IEDs. Since I was an active-duty serving officer, I was unable to patent it. I’m happy that it saves lives.

Recloseable plastic disposable coffee cup tops (like from MacDonalds). I used to drive across country regularly and would cut the tops with my penknife so I could re-close them. Wish I’d patented that…
