The best news in the world right now would be that my husband was coming home. I wouldn’t be able to tell anyone that news though.

The second best news I’d like in the coming months is to get pregnant. My husband would be the first to know, followed by my mom.

The best news in the world would be that we sold our house and all of us would go do the Happy Farmer dance in my next door neighbors driveway.

The best news I could hear is that I’ve been accepted into the graduate school I have my heart set on, and the first person that I would tell is my mum (she’d wig out – the school is out of the country. I doubt she’ll want to see me leave, but I’m determined.)

My niece probably, we struggle.

Since I’ve decided that my ship isn’t coming in, I decided that the next best thing was getting my boat. So I got a new boat. Saturday. I told Facebook. (Sorry, Fluther, you’re not even second.)

PS: I’m a recent (not ‘new’) grandfather. That was months ago.

How exciting to do something that you find so rewarding. Congrats! I would definitely tell the love of my life first. Then, I’d wish I could call my Grandfather (deceased 3 years), and then I’d call my closest friend.

When I got excellent news recently (was offered the full-time Community Manager job here at Fluther), it was the middle of the freakin’ night! It was all I could do not to wake my husband with the news, but I managed to wait til morning to share it with him. He’s definitely my go-to-guy for stuff like that. :)

Right now, I’m waiting on some health news. Really, any news will be good news, even if it sucks. I’d just like to know wtf is going on with me. Again, he’d be the first to know. Followed by my daughters, my best friend, and Fluther, of course!
