Do you feel like Fluther has improved your quality of life?

Asked by El_Cadejo (34610points) March 25th, 2008

I do. I think its kind of comforting to know that any possible question I can think of, can and will be answered.

Yes, other than my ongoing struggles with procrastination. It seems very easy since I joined to fluther rather than do some of my chores (oops!)

The first friend I made here, Delirium, was worth it alone.

For sure! Not only will those questions be answered, but the way people are serious when they need to be, but can still joke and kid around. Its such a great environment. Oh, and the responses. What else can be said but wow? It really gives me a good feeling to know there are people out there who really do care, even if they have no clue who you are. That right there says it all I think.

Great answer randy, i couldn’t agree with you more.

The people i’ve found here have made it more than worth it.

And riser, you just made my da-wee-month… at least!

It is true, any question will be answered whether the person answering actually knows the answer or not.

Fluther hasn’t improved the quality of life, but it has been a welcome addition to it. Although I haven’t made any friends, I didn’t really come here to make friends and I don’t collect friends as a hobby, I have developed a fondness for some posters because of their candor, character and ability to state their thoughts, belief and advice so eloquently, typographical errors included.

Fluther is an experience for which I am grateful.

Yea…that too.

I’m feeling the love!

Hmm… Well, sorry for the combobreakage, but… Not really. It’s a nice website to visit now and then, but to say it improves my quality of life is a bit drastic.

Vincent,
Do you need a group hug???

Has Fluther improved my life? The laundry’s piled up, the grass is up to the windows, the kids are neglected (and I think I left one sitting at the baseball field), all because I am cruising Fluther instead….. Just kidding. I am pretty new, but I find it very entertaining. It is a welcome relief to everyday life. I also find it fascinating how people come to different conclusions over the same question – makes for some interesting reading. And regular posters often have a “flavor” to their responses – that is, you can often feel like you know the way they are in the “real” world based on the responses they give and the way they word those responses.

It has definitely been a good way to pass the time while I recover from surgery! If not for Fluther, I think I would climb the walls by now. I have learned some new things, and had some laughs along the way. I think it’s great!

@Steve…ba dum bum!!

@trainerboy – I never decline a group hug :P

undoubtedly…since this one didn’t win the greeting contest, I’ll just recycle here:

“I gotta feelin’, and the only prescription is, More Fluther!”

mcbealer's avatar

funny, snfreQ. Yeah, I didn’t hear about the contest until the winners were posted :0)

I’m a newbie here…coming over from Askville, so I am just testing the waters here. Similar, but very different too! I like it :-)
It’s fun to have a change.
I do love real people answering my questions.

Hi RebeccaLove! Just wanted to take a moment to welcome you to Fluther! I think you’ll find a concerned, compassionate, yet exciting and diverse group here; we are real people and enjoy the “journey” as much as the “destination.” Cheers!
