Do you think someone that is really ticklish could possibly be tickled to death?

is it possible that if someone is very ticklish, and gets tickled until they can’t breathe, or has a heart attack, could be tickled to death?

I’m pretty sure a heart attack could be induced by any sort of shock to the nervous system, even one as seemingly innocent as tickling.

Maybe.

I found this article about it, and it’s pretty interesting. (link)

Tickling doesn’t have to be innocent… it’s also sexual, apparently.

I used to be extremely ticklish and my sisters used to torture (and I use that word deliberately) me by tickling me til I almost vomited from the spasming.. The laughing is involuntary, the process is painful. In my 20’s, a short term boyfriend I had thought it was amusing (he didn’t last long in my life) and the above link notwithstanding, there was nothing sexual about it. I agree with @Austinlad that it could, conceivably cause some kind of fatal shock-induced incident. I’ve since outgrown being ticklish thank god.

I was once tickled to the point that I had an asthma attack. It only ended when I kicked the person tickling me and then they realized I couldn’t breathe and got my inhaler.

yep i am extremely ticklish and my brother was tickling me and didn’t realize I couln’t breathe. About three more minutes and he could have killed me.

Yes, the trauma or lack of breath can kill them.

Probably because if someone is laughing really hard from being tickled, and they continue to be tickled, they could loose their breathe.

It’s possible. I am a very, very ticklish person. I somewhat enjoy being tickled (not that way lol) because it actually puts me in a better mood. I laugh, I scream, and I move around the bed or where ever I am and I enjoy it…to a certain extent. :P
