No picture, no sound. Is it broke?

I have a 10 year old Sony TV. 32 inch and weighs a ton. One of those really thick TV’s of the old days. When I turn it on, I can tell by the satellite box that it is on, and the channel shows at the top of the screen when I change channels, but no picture and no sound. Is it broke or did I push a wrong button at some point?
