Any recommendations on trying Blender?

Blender is an open source 3D rendering program… Like lightwave, Maya, etc. I’d just like to get some feedback from those that have tried it.

This wasn’t really my thing. As a character modeler, I found Silo much more intuitive.

I found it very easy to get into. The controls and interface were intuitive compared to something like Maya.

It’s free to download though, so you can try it and see for yourself.

Blender is very fun, I recommend using it with the indigo renderer at indigorenderer.com
