Really simple: How do I post pictures directly from my droid to facebook as a status update?

Every time I try to post a picture to Facebook mobile from my Droid it posts the picture to an album and on my wall as an update, but I would like to make a written status update with a picture under it…I see friends status updates do this all the time. At no point does fb mobile ask me if I want to write a status/caption for the photo I just posted. How do I get it to?

Go to your gallery, select the picture you want to upload. Then select “share” then “facebook”. That should bring up a screen that shows the picture and under the picture should be a comment box. Fill in the comment box with what you want the status line of your Facebook post to say, then hit upload.

The picture will post to your profile and be added to a “mobile uploads” album.
