The baby is here! Healthy and happy and whole. Everyone is doing fine. Can we get a shout out to the family?!

Congrats, congrats, and congrats again. And in case you need advice on how to diaper a baby:
Spread the diaper in the position of the diamond with you at bat. Then fold second base down to home and set the baby on the pitcher’s mound. Put first base and third together, bring up home plate and pin the three together. I’m 98% sure she had a girl – but this is my memory of other discussions with her. And I think they chose the name Madeline. I’m sure she’ll update on Facebook again soon. Oh, 8 lbs, 1 oz.
From her Facebook page: “We are home from the hospital as of yesterday. I WILL get the pics up soon, but I honestly haven’t had any time to do it. This is the first 10 minutes I’ve had where I’m not sleeping or feeding Maddie. It’s SO great. I think my entire brain has rewired though. I am totally smitten with her and so is her dad.”
