I know it say one song, but I have three songs that changed my life. God by John Lennon – it sort of expresses my philosophical belief of an advaitin
Brain Damage and Shine On You Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd helped contain the lunatic in my mind

I second Hey Jude

As far as songs that changed my life, I’d have to say
What would you say by Dave Matthews Band, That song was the first DMB song I heard and it opened me up to DMB which led me to investigate the band and fall in love. I went to one of their shows and some hippie girl was preaching environmentalism, it sounded logical. I did research. Made a big change in my life.

Look to You by Hillsong United.
Actually that whole CD.

I was introduced to it in a pivotal time in my life. It really helped me through it.

At that same “pivotal” time, I would say that Two Headed Boy Pt. II was really strong.
But like no one has even heard of Neutral Milk Hotel…

What a Beautiful World by Louis Armstrong. I think I was five when I first heard it and here I sit at thirty-three and it still makes me want to cry and hand out hugs and pick up trash on the streets. That song just gets me.

I would have to say “Imagine” by John Lennon. It really makes you think, you know. Or, imagine if you will.

Here (In Your Arms) – HelloGoodbye.
This Is the song that made my current Girlfriend fall in love with me.

just about any Beatles song. It just puts me at ease, in that element that everything will be okay. If I had to pick one song, it would be Strawberry Fields Forever. The whole song is genius. Makes me happy! : )

I Know I’m Not Alone, by Michael Franti.

He also made a documentary by the same name, of his experience going to Iraq and Palestine and befriending people. Inspiring.

‘Anarchy in the UK’ by the Sex Pistols.

It’s really hard to choose just one song but band wise I would have to say most songs by Motion City Soundtrack mean a lot to me. More than anything I think music in general has changed my life , it was there for me when nothing else was.
