Does anyone take Melatonin to sleep? I do and it helps.

I heard the slow acting is better.

I can’t function without sleep and I have a hard time falling asleep many nights.

@philosopher put a TV in your bedroom with a sleep timer. It works everytime. When i was working, occassionally had that problem, and the TV did the trick. Watch the weather channel, it will put you sleep everytime.

each and every night. 1 milligram . Sub-lingual and it IS habit forming. Is it enough? Sometimes.
I agree w/boo. Falling asleep w/a boring show is Much preferred and I will restart this soon when I get a tv in there. (:

My Fios remote won’t work with the timer.

My husband has the same stress as me. He can sleep anytime. Men seem to deal with stress defiantly.

In Germany it’s illegal to sell melatonin. Some people order it online from other countries, but most German doctors advise against its use. Because of potential long term risks. Not enough studies about long-term side effects. One problem could be the retinas of our eyes.

In any case it’s not the same as harmless vitamins.
