Do you get enough Face Time?

Asked by RealEyesRealizeRealLies (30951points) September 29th, 2010

When was the last time you looked someone in the eye for an extended period of time and had a decent conversation?

Is that better or worse than fluthering your life away?

Fortunately, I get to do both, though I could use a little more ‘face time’. I seem to have been very busy last few months, and have good drugs so I get out and see people.

In spite of Fluther, I manage to keep my RL relationships intact. so I do pretty well on the Face Time thing. I don’t tell my friends about being a Jelly, it’s mine, I tell you, all mine!

I’m not allowed out of my room. My meals are passed through a slot in the door.

I don’t get enough face to face time with the people most important to me. Usually when we’re together then my friends and I have a time limit, just enough for a meal, some chatter between bites then off to whatever else our lives demand. With my partner then we are always working crazy long hours with few days off a month together so our together time is waking up and getting ready for work or after work trying to decompress, eat, wash up and maybe have some nekid romp.

Yes. But some people I don’t look in the eyes as much as others. Why is eye contact so difficult sometimes? But I have no problem looking my boyfriend in the eye. Often we just stare at each other and sigh. lol.

Not as much as I’d like. I don’t get to see some of the people who are most important to me very regularly. We talk often, but see rarely.

@lazydaisy

so what’s most important… face time, or talk time?
